It is unfortunate that we must report an extra has been seriously injured during the filming of Transformers 3. The woman was setting in her vehicle when a object from a stunt went flying towards her, giving her a serious head injury. The woman was not intended in the part of any stunts however.

It is sad that something like this would happen, and we would like to wish her a quick recovery here at Seibertron.com.

The producer of the third Transformers film, or "TF3" for short, has spoken his feelings on the recent filming taking place in Chicago.

When talking to the Chicago Breaking News Center, Bonaventura said the following:

It's funny, we keep extending it here because we're having such a good time, to tell you the truth,

We were supposed to leave a few days ago, actually, and we kept extending it. Right now, around Sept. 1, but if we have any say in it, we'll keep staying here.

The article follows with another quote from him. From the Chicago Breaking News:

"Last night, I tried to think to myself 'How many cities have I shot in in the last seven or eight years,' and I got up to about 118," Di Bonaventura said. "The reason I thought about it was because all of us have felt this was the best city we've ever shot in."

The Transformers 3 production filmed in Chicago's famous Loop last weekend, then at Milwaukee's Art Institute earlier this week, and is now back on Chicago's magnificent mile in front of the beautiful Wrigley building and on the Michigan Ave bridge across the Chicago river. I wasn't able to get as close to the action as I was last weekend so the video quality looks even more amateurish than normal. Pictures will be posted soon! In the meantime, here are some new videos which I uploaded to our Facebook page at http://facebook.seibertron.com.

I was down at the Calitrava again today, but they were doing mainly inside shots. I think I saw Shia changing his shirt, but got no video of that. There was a helicopter that landed on the grass by the museum after I left yesterday so I didn't get it. Today, however, I did. When I got there they were keeping everyone off the bridge that crosses to the war memorial museum, where I got the car shots from. Then someone got a call that said they were cancelling the helicopter. I again went down to the lakefront and saw the chopper take off from the marina. What I saw is posted below. Sorry for the shakey cam, but it IS a Michael Bay movie, it fits right in.

Oh, and yesterday, while I was carrying my son on my shoulders and walking back to out car from the lake, Michael Bay rode by in a golf cart. I said, "Hi Michael!" and waved. He waved back. Just something fun for my son.
