It was bound to happen eventually. Even Third Parties must repaint or remold their creations. But when it comes to FansProject, I guess we could say - any repaint or remold is acceptable with open arms. We have yet to receive Protector, but now FansProject has surprisingly revealed their varient for it - Shadow Scyther, which would seemingly work well with both Gentai Wildrider or Shattered Glass Rodimus. Previously we reported that 3rd party company - Xovergen Production is planning to produce the toy for Supreme Tactical Commander-Grand Patriot, based on Rolling Thunder Optimus Prime.

Today Xovergen Production has just updated their webpage with the new prototype images of the toy, albeit mainly on the vehicle mode.

There's a new listing on Seibertron.com sponsor Big Bad Toy Store's site that will allow you to give your MP Optimus Prime/Convoy the royal treatment. Third party toymaker iGear has created a new cloak accessory for the full-sized MP figure that will give Prime the look from the Japanese G2 comic during the Cybertron Alliance storyline. The cloak is purple with a red lining just like in the comic and has clips at the top to attach it to Prime's chest. It's available for pre-order on BBTS for 19.99 and is expected sometime in the third quarter.

Third party CrazyDevy is at it again with their Predaking upgrades, as their latest release will be new wings for the King of the Combiners. These wings completely out class those of the original. CrazyDevy also shows us an outline of what Predaking will look like after their Power Parts are finished, and it seems we'll be getting even more upgrades. Check out the pictures below!

Fansproject has once again updated their site with news about the upcoming Crossfire-02 Bruticus upgrade. According to the new message, an issue with the mold caused final QC problems. However, to their credit, they're reworking the mold to correct the problem prior to the set's release. The latest message is below:

"FansProject will start shipping out both Explorer ; Munitioner in the first week of August. We find out from the final QC check that two pieces will not perfectly fit all versions when combine into giant robot mode. To keep our level of quality, we had remold and replaces that two pieces for the whole shipment.

We are deeply sorry for the delay and Thank you for your patient!"

Disappointing, but the set should definitely be worth the wait.
