Perhaps if you've been watching the ticker in Multiplayer or Escalation, you'll notice that the 2nd Downloadable Content for Transformers: War For Cybertron will be released on September 7th on the Xbox 360 and PS3! The format will likely be similar to the first DLC - five new characters, two new Multiplayer maps and two new Escalation maps. However nothing is concrete yet, so for more information on what's actually being released in the DLC, you'll have to keep your optics locked on Seibertron.com!

NetDragon, the same guys behind the curious-looking Dungeon Keeper Online, were this week revealed as the developers for a new massively-multiplayer online game based on the Transformers licence.
The game has been officially sanctioned by Hasbro, will be a role-playing game, and;hellip; will only be released (at least initially) in China, ;ldquo;Asia;rdquo;, Russia (and CIS states), the Middle East and North Africa. No North America, no Western Europe, no Australasia.
There are no screenshots, no concept art and no further information on the game (or whether it;rsquo;s based on the original series, comics, Michael Bay;rsquo;s movies, whatever), so all you;rsquo;ve got left to do is wildly speculate, dream and hope for the best. Who knows, it may even be good, and as Company of Heroes Online has shown, it;rsquo;s not that unusual for former Asia-only games to be released in the West.

We've received some official screenshots and a link to the trailer for War for Cybertron's upcoming DLC.
We are pleased to announce that the DLC pack will include the following:
- Two brand new characters: Fan favorites SCATTERSHOT and ONSLAUGHT, whose named characters will be playable in Escalation mode and chassis will be accessible in traditional multiplayer
- Three previous retailer-exclusive characters: SHOCKWAVE, DEMOLISHOR and JAZZ, playable in the aforementioned modes
- Four brand new maps:
o Escalation maps DISTRICT and FORSAKEN
o Multiplayer maps HAVOK and FORTRESS
The Transformers: War for Cybertron Map and Character Pack will launch next week.

The DLC is scheduled to release July 27th for the PlayStation Network (for $10.00) and XBox Live (800 Microsoft Points).

IGN.com is reporting that Activision and High Moon Studios will be new downladable content for both the PS3, and X-box 360 versions of 'The Transformers War For Cybertron' video game.
Unfortunately for some folks who may have spent some really good money on eBay to get the codes for downloading specific character skins that were made available when pre-ordering the game from certain retailers, a lot of the new DLC is those characters, as well as new maps!
"As detailed in the original leak (by the Xbox Live Marketplace) of the DLC release here, the New Map and Character Pack DLC includes new characters Scattershot and Onslaught, as well as Shockwave, Jazz, and Demolishor, who were originally exclusive to pre-order customers at particular retail locations. The DLC also contains two new multiplayer maps, and also doubles the number of maps for the Horde-like Escalation mode to four."
The DLC is to be made available on July 27th for PSN and XBox Live and will cost $10.00 or 800 MS points.
